Har saal 21 June ko poori duniya International Yoga Day manati hai. Varsh 2026 ki theme hai.  "Swastha Aayu Ke Liye Yog (Yoga for Healthy Ageing)." Yeh theme humein yaad dilati hai ki Yoga sirf vartamaan mein swasth rehne ka madhyam nahi, balki jeevan ke har charan mein sharirik, mansik aur bhaavnatmak swasthya ko banaye rakhne ka ek sarvangi marg hai.
Is din crodon log yoga karte hain, yoga sessions attend karte hain aur social media par yoga ki photos aur videos share karte hain. Lekin ek sawal hai jo humein khud se poochna chahiye,
Kya Yoga sirf body ko fit rakhne ka ek exercise system hai?
Yadi hum Yogic Science, Vedas aur Maharishi Patanjali ke drishtikon se dekhen, to jawab hai— Nahi.

Yoga sirf sharir ko flexible banane ki technique nahi hai. Yoga ek aisi jeevan paddhati hai jo vyakti ke sharir, man, buddhi, bhavnaon aur atma ke beech samanvay sthapit karti hai.

Bahut log raat ko bed par lete hue bhi physically thake nahi hote, lekin mentally completely exhausted hote hain.

Yoga Ka Vastavik Arth Kya Hai?
"Yoga" shabd Sanskrit dhatu "Yuj" se bana hai, jiska arth hai - Jodna, Ekikrit Karna, Unite Karna.Yoga ka uddeshya sirf muscles ko stretch karna nahi hai.

Yoga ka uddeshya hai—

  • Sharir ko man se jodna

  • Man ko buddhi se jodna

  • Buddhi ko vivek se jodna

  • Aur vyakti ko uske asli swaroop se jodna

    jab vyakti khud se jud jaata hai, tab uske jeevan mein santulan aata hai.

Isi santulan ka naam Yoga hai.

Aaj adhiktar log Yoga ko sirf Asana tak seemit kar dete hain. Lekin vastav mein Asana Yoga ka ek chhota sa hissa hai. Yoga ka safar sharir se shuru hota hai, lekin man aur chetna tak pahunchta hai. Yoga Aur Mental Health yeh vishay aaj sabse adhik mahatvapurn hai.
Kai vaigyanik adhyayanon aur anusandhanon mein paya gaya hai ki niyamit Yoga aur Pranayama ka abhyas mansik aur sharirik swasthya par sakaratmak prabhav daal sakta hai. Stress Hormone Kam Hota Hai. Yoga aur Pranayama cortisol (stress hormone) ko kam karne mein madad kar sakte hain.

Jab cortisol kam hota hai—

  • Mind shaant hota hai

  • Irritation kam hoti hai

  • Emotional balance badhta hai


Anxiety Mein Rahat Milti Hai. Deep breathing aur meditation nervous system ko calm karne mein sahayak hote hain.
Body ko signal milta hai ki— "Tum surakshit ho."
Aur jab body surakshit mehsoos karti hai, to anxiety dheere-dheere kam hone lagti hai.
Overthinking Kam Hoti Hai. Overthinking ka mool karan hota hai, Present moment se disconnect ho jana. Yoga humein vartamaan mein rehna sikhata hai. Jab dhyan saans par aata hai, to man kal aur parson ki chinta se bahar nikalta hai. Yoga Aur Brain Science, Yogic Science aur Neuroscience dono aaj ek hi baat keh rahe hain.
